Home Grown Success Information Sessions

Join us for one of our multiple Sessions in January to get more information bout the Homegrown Success Program in partnership with Accenture.

Information covered includes: learning modules, work opportunities, application process, Q+A for parents and students.

Homegrown Success features "More than code”, the latest iteration of JOURNi's programming that will enhance student's confidence in shaping their own future.

More than Code is a 14-week program that takes high school students through one semester of coding education, mentorship, and entrepreneurship training.

Successful Completion of this program can lead to a paid summer Internship where interns will complete tasks such as deliver digital products and services to paying Clients.

Summer Code Pool - Building Robots and Coding

Join us for our latest edition of our Virtual Code Pool powered by the Ford Resource and Engagement Center. In this series of virtual workshops Code Pool participants will receive makeblock mbots. They will then attend virtual sessions where they will build their robots with the rest of the program. After building them, participants will program the robots using a smart phone or tablet. Finally, participants will build their own personal websites describing their experience.

Robots will need to be picked up at a future date before the program start up. Robots are free with admission to the program.
